Bio

Dr. Rey-L籀pez received her licenciatura in Hispanic Philology from Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, Spain, in 1990, and pursued graduate studies at the University of Colorado at Boulder. She earned a M.A. degree in Spanish and Latin American Literature (May 1992), and
received her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature (May 1998).

Research Interests

Although her main interest remains Spanish Medieval and Golden Age Literature, she has been researching the field of contemporary Spanish women poets from Galicia.

During her tenure at Metro she has developed a strong interest in pedagogy and methodology's theory and research.

Teaching Interests

Dr. Rey-L籀pez has taught all levels of Spanish at the university level. Since working at Metro her teaching interests have concentrated around Peninsular Literature.
She also coordinates a Study Abroad Summer Program in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
