At the College of Business (CBUS), preparing students for career success is more than a goal; 颈迟鈥檚 a commitment. We鈥檙e thrilled to spotlight the growing impact of our dedicated career planning efforts, led by Clare Fidler, CBUS鈥檚 very own Career Planning Specialist.听

Clare has built a comprehensive Career Readiness Continuum, which is a strategic framework designed to support students from their very first semester all the way through one-year post-graduation. This approach seamlessly integrates career development into the student experience and expands support as students’ progress through their academic journey.听

Early on, students engage with broad career exploration tools and workshops designed to build awareness and confidence. As students advance into upper-division coursework, they gain access to focused, high-impact experiences that help bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world application. These include:听

  • Personalized resume coaching
  • Job search strategy workshops听
  • Informational interview guidance听
  • Guest speakers and panel discussions

Spring 2025 Highlights:

– 305 students engaged in classroom career presentations 鈥� thank you to our incredible faculty for making this possible!听
– 365 students explored online career planning tools and resources.
– 40+ students received individualized, one-on-one career support.听

Clare has done an awesome job leading these efforts and championing student success across the College.听

The College of Business collaborates with 91暗网鈥檚 Applied Learning Center, C2Hub, Alumni Relations, and our faculty to ensure that every business student has the resources, experiences, and confidence they need to succeed, both in the classroom and in their careers.听
