Introduction to Python Programming is a noncredit professional development course that will guide learners step by step through programming principles and the fundamentals of Python, the world’s most popular beginner programming language. This Python course was designed by computer science faculty at 91°µÍø with lifelong learners in mind. You’ll learn how to solve increasingly complex problems, write simple and efficient code, and build a strong foundation in programming.

No prior experience needed

Your 91°µÍø instructor will start with entry-level Python, covering the basics, and help you develop the confidence to write and understand Python code. You’ll learn Python skills such as how to troubleshoot bugs and use Google Colab, a beginner-friendly tool that makes coding easier and more interactive. By the end of the Python course online, you’ll have the analysis skills to write and debug your own beginner Python programs.

Schedule

Introduction to Python Programming runs September 1 - November 2, 2026. Registration closes September 8.

Format

Self-paced and online, allowing education to fit within your busy schedule. Learners have up to 8 weeks to complete the course.

Cost

$795 per student plus a $35 transaction fee per payment. All learning materials are included with tuition. Group discounts available.

Dr. Ranjidha Rajan will be the instructor for this Introduction to Python Programming course. She holds a doctoral degree in Learning Analytics and brings an interdisciplinary background that bridges data science, education, and technology. At 91°µÍø, she teaches courses on data visualization, programming languages, and learning algorithms. Her research focuses on AI in education, deep learning analytics, and data visualization, with a special interest in how a generative AI model can enhance teaching, research, and advance student learning.
