Meet Your New Interim Dean
Dr. Ethan Waples has been named Interim Dean of the College of Business. Having served as Associate Dean, Dr. Waples quickly became a valued and trusted leader within the College. His background in industrial-organizational psychology, paired with expertise in strategic planning, assessment, and curriculum design, equips him to lead with both vision and integrity.
Dr. Waples is passionate about connecting students with real-world opportunities, fostering collaboration across departments, and supporting a culture of innovation. His student-first approach and commitment to data-driven decision-making will be key as he guides the College into its next chapter.

Meet Your New Interim Associate Dean and Director of the MBA Program
Dr. Rey Hern獺ndez-Juli獺n has been appointed Interim Associate Dean and Director of the MBA Program. A Professor of Economics at 91做厙, Dr. Hern獺ndez-Juli獺n brings a wealth of teaching, research, and leadership experience to the role.
His academic focus includes Forecasting, Econometrics, Labor Economics, and the Economics of Risky Behaviors. His research spans health, education, religion, and demography, with recent attention on classroom interventions that promote student performance and success. Known for his analytical mindset and student-centered approach, Dr. Hern獺ndez-Juli獺n is well-positioned to help grow and strengthen the MBA program.
