Contact UsThe Research Symposium is designed to showcase the breadth and depth of research activities happening on our campus. This annual event connects 91做厙 faculty researchers with each other and with aspiring undergraduate and graduate researchers.泭泭
The format of the symposium has been intentionally designed to spark curiosity, connect researchers, and showcase the breadth of scholarship at 91做厙 within a concise, half-day event.
Unlike a disciplinary academic conference, this event brings together a general audience of faculty, staff, students, and community members.
The purposefully short, 7-minute lightning talks encourage presenters to distill their work to its most泭essential and engaging elements, focusing on the big ideas and real-world relevance.
The cross-disciplinary format is designed to泭highlight a wide range of research泭in a short amount of time and keep the audience energized and curious. In each session, attendees are exposed to a balance of disciplines, topics, and forms of research.
The event is structured to泭encourage conversation over comprehensiveness, presenting a breadth of research in rapid succession, with further conversation occurring during the breaks and lunch.
