The Office of University Events and the CAVEA Theater are located in the Jordan Student Success Building, the blond-brick and glass building at the corner of 9th St & Auraria Pkwy. When entering the building, take the elevator or stairs to the 4th floor, where you will find the CAVEA Theater (Room 420) down the hallway on the left. We look forward to your visit!

Parking Locations and Pricing

There are many parking options available on campus. For your convenience, two multi-level parking garages nearest the to our location include:

7th St Garage
• Use pay machine or pay-by-cell (license plate # needed)
• $8.25 daily flat rate Monday – Thursday until 5 p.m.
• 4 minute walk to CAVEA

Tivoli Garage
• Use pay machine or pay-by-cell (license plate # needed)
• $8.25 daily flat rate Monday – Thursday until 5 p.m.
• 2 minute walk to CAVEA

Alternative Transportation Methods

Light Rail
Denver’s RTD rail system services four stations that neighbor our campus:
• Ball Arena/Elitch Gardens
• Empower Field at Mile High
• The Auraria West Station
• The Colfax at Auraria Station

Bus
RTD provides numerous bus lines that travel to the Auraria Campus, including stops that are within walking distance to the CAVEA.

Bikes and Scooters
Denver’s bike‑friendly layout makes bikes and scooters a popular way to travel. Ride your own bike or use Lime’s electric scooters. On campus, you’ll find bike racks, garages, repair stations, and moped parking areas.

Airport Commuter Rail
Commuters can skip the traffic and cost of parking, thanks to direct rail connection via the A-Line, available from Denver International Airport to Downtown Denver. When arriving downtown at Union Station, choose any of the options above to complete the journey to the Auraria Campus, or a short 15-minute walk from the station. Also available are taxi services such as bike taxis, Lyft, and Yellow Cab.
